Lake Harriet UM Preschool offers a high quality, play-based, early childhood educational program for young children in a warm, nurturing, environment.
In educating the whole child: socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively by providing
an atmosphere where the creativity, uniqueness, and self-esteem of each child are nurtured.

The program is carefully planned and supervised to meet the needs of each child in these developmental areas: physical, cognitive, social, and emotional.
Children gain a lot from going to preschool because they become exposed to numbers, letters, and shapes there. But, more importantly, they develop social and emotional skills and learn how to get along with other children, to share and to contribute.
We are a MN licensed and NAEYC accredited preschool program.
