Calendar

Preschool is in session Monday – Friday. No school days generally correspond with the Minneapolis Public Schools. Home visits with your child’s classroom teacher will be scheduled in the first week of September, 2024.

2024-25 LHUMP Calendar

Preschool Times

Regular preschool hours are from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., Monday – Thursday.

NEW for the 2023-24 school year

Preschool Plus 12:30pm-3:00pm, Monday – Thursday
STEM Fridays, 9am – 3:00pm
Early drop off and/or late pick up 7:30am – 5:30pm, Monday – Friday

Enrichment Classes

LHUMP partners with Soccer Shots and MiniApple Kitchen and parents may choose to register for seasonal sessions.

Eligibility

Children from three to five year-olds up to the time of their entrance into Kindergarten may enroll. A current health form is required of each child.

Conferences

Your first conference is a home visit that is scheduled before school begins in September. Two conferences are offered during the school year, in November and in March. Parents/guardians may arrange a conference with their child’s teacher or with the Director at any time to keep in contact with their child’s development. Written observations will be provided at each conference.

We are a MN licensed and NAEYC accredited preschool program. We offer preschool in the mornings from 9:00am-12:30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Extended day, STEM Fridays, and early drop off & pick options.
