Welcome to Lake Harriet UM Preschool,
My name is Charlene Pimentel, and I’m thrilled to be a part of your child’s learning journey. I am passionate about creating a nurturing and safe environment where young minds can flourish.

I hold two Bachelor degrees in Cognitive Science and Psychology with a minor in Early Childhood Studies. I also worked as a Behavior Therapist for autistic children. My approach focuses on fostering creativity, empathy, and cognitive growth.

I believe that every child is unique and learns best when they feel safe, supported, and excited about discovering the world around them. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy photography, reading, and exploring Uptown Minneapolis where I live!
